Capacity and Performance Management Services
Pay 55-65 per hour
New Jersey 6 month contract
Expertise in Unix/Linux/Windows performance analysis / monitoring tools
• Expertise in LoadRunner/PerformanceCenter or equivalent performance testing tool set
• Experience with developing tools to parse, merge, and analyze performance data
Demonstrated ability to
o operate independently and set own priorities
o deal with multiple concurrent work streams
o communicate with management, business, and technical personnel
o learn and understand new technologies and architectures
• Expertise in Sybase / Oracle / UDB data base administration, engineering and/or development with a performance focus, or performance included as a core responsibility
o Database design experience highly desirable
Other requirements
o Experience in Weblogic with a performance focus, or performance included as a responsibility
o Knowledge of least one messaging system, with a performance focus, or performance included as a responsibility
? Eg. Tibco, WebSeries MQ
o Involvement in architectural reviews

New consultant is required to provide Capacity and Performance Management services to OFTG Tier 1 business critical distributed applications. Specifically this position will focus on:
1. Creating a center of excellence in distributed capacity and performance management
2. Implementing capacity and performance management lifecycle for OFTG Tier 1 applications

SMADS is a Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), web-based database repository allowing multiple users to access critical information simultaneously. Users of the system can:
?Recall information quickly and easily;
?Visualize assets via a mapping capability;
?Identify assets associated with specific missions and functions;
?Identify assets associated with specific threats and hazards;
?Edit data via a web GUI (Graphic User Interface) to improve collaboration and information sharing
SMADS allows users to view all COCOM, Service and Sector task critical assets (TCAs), while also showing visually DHS Tier I and II assets.
2.0 Scope.
CIP Task 1: Provide day-to-day dedicated on-site support and technical expertise for CI Program development.
CIP Task 3: Assist coordination of USSTRATCOM CI Program initiatives with OASD, Joint Staff, supported/supporting commands, DoD agencies, and the Services.
CIP Task 9: Continue the development of the Strategic Mission Asset Data System (SMADS). Work involves developing Information Technology and Automatic Data Processing tools that include, but not limited to, merging unit level readiness reporting data; assessing the status of infrastructure and assets enabling the systems, functions, and capabilities contributing to mission success; and graphically displaying the results.
3.0 Description of Work to be Performed.
Create .net/java web services for SMADS (Strategic Mission Assurance Data System) for USSTRATCOM.
4.0 Proprietary Data, EIT, GFI/GFE and NMCI Requirements.
4.1 Access to Other Contractors’ Proprietary Data: yes, NDA will be required
